Two versions, can't pick which is better?

Those are awesome! I think the second one is better, the text isn't right for the kinda "swirly" 70's looking design, a text that might work well with that is bahaus. But anyway as you said they are definately something different.

I was sort of liking the second one myself. And indeed I didn't like the text that much, but I didn't have one that would suit better (you'd think i could find one from 2000fonts)
I'll try the one you suggested once I get home

there both pretty awsome but the first is my favourite cos the stroke stands out more and try adding an austin powers style font

would've been a lot better if you didn't add cross hatches to the flower. I like the idea. not a bad job.
