It's not a hole, it's his eye.

You're really not supposed to get it, it's an abstract.
ok then why is there smoke coming out his eyeball? or does he ahve soot on his face (the smeared gray)
It's really just the way I decided to shade. It's the way I do my abstracts when I use actual paints, so I incorporated that into the computer program.
oh ok, i'll stop critizing now :P
