It would look great with more interesting color, it's a little bland.
Try this trick:
-Duplicate the render layer twice (you should now have three render layers)
-Put a gaussian blur of about 1.3 to the lower render layer
-Set the middle one to 'overlay'
-put the top one at about 65% opacity
It gives the render a more serene look, softer to the eye.
Post the results, next to the old one so I can see if my advice worked

The focus is too much on the render, without the render the sig is nothing at all in this.
