i prefer it over your current the text isnt that bad though it could be better, the background also seems repetetive. GJ though

Thanks for the feedback, I agree about the background though, I don't like it that much looking back at it now ;) At least it's a pass lol

Its alright. Its all mainly one or two dull colors making it really monotone- the render too blends into the bg very nicely, but plainly.

Try multicoloring it. It should take away some repeated brushing. Also add some more depth like shadows. Here's a few ideas to start with.

Try what Nightfire suggested and don't forget about Levels Layers, Gradient Maps and Channel Mixers. Multiply is a good blend mode for Adjustment Layers aimed at adding depth. Just remember to lower the opacity until you like what you see. If I start telling you too much more, it's gonna cost ya...lol :D Hope that helped.
