There are many tutorials here that might give you some ideas. The first thing I noticed was the size. Try to make them the size of other sigs you see because the size you are using for that Spiderman one is way too big. I usually use 350x90 or something like that.

Love the backgrounds, as has been already said however, a shift in size would be nice, try to keep 'em small as that works best in most peoples eyes, not least in my own.
The BG's are quite nice, sorry but everything else is pretty bad >.< text doesn't fiot and looks bad, renders arn't blended... they look unfinished :(

metroid sig doesnt quite blend in.
I personally love the Porsche sig at the end, but the border is too thick. The rest can be fixed by what Freak advised.
