I wish I could just be there
Instead of over there, or there, or anywhere.
I want to be able to insert that exactly timed witty joke, at every exact time.
I'd place myself in your locker, hand you your things as you depart.
I'd remind you to do your Bloody Art!
I'd hold you in my arms all the time, staring outwards
i'd rest my chin on your shoulder, eyes watering from a lack of blinking.
A little scared, I suppose, that if I blink- you'll take that opportunity and be gone
So just pretend i'm always holding you- no matter if no one, or anyone else is.
Remeber that i'm that little bit of pressure on your shoulder, and my whisper
is the voice of reason.
