Sweet.. It would make a good wallpaper. and yeah I agree with zero, would look good with a dark background.

I think it would look like ass with a dark background because all the lighting would stand out too much, its cool as it is now but it seems a bit cluttered.

hmm, looking ok, but there seems to be a 'kink' in the centre where the blast / brushing is radiating from.
Try some simple multicolouring ((blue / green / yellow )) And possibly more then just abstract brushes. Maybe work onto a render, or just a little more then brushing.

A little too heavily colour balanced / hue-saturationed also :)
