Firstly it looks more like plastic and not metal, and i know you said, but it has almost no detail in, jsut looks like a few gradients and wires.
The circular thing on the right is pixeally and ugly and the arms on the left look out of perspective and where they are coming from is messed up to.

yea thanks for pointing that all out, didnt look at those things to closely, im surprised though i didnt catch the holes for the claws, those are generaly easy, i can see where i messed up on that, and why they look screwed up(forgot depth)
yea and the circluar thing on the right was really annoying to make, i really need to find a better technique, or just experiment more with my current one,
oh yea and you were right it is just a bunch of gradiant and wire :D, the entire things true color is actually white, lol
It does look more like plastic than metal, but I like it. It has a...different look to it. Nice job man.

Ive heard of people that can't take their critiscm on their own work but moaning at someone elses :o

Hmm 'tis ok. But the lighting is weird, you have gradients on square edges.. and it just looks generally.. not too good.

yea i know that, i have a cred link in my deviant description where i posted this, i was just experimenting with the tutorial

Yup, tutorial from DI. I think it would be better if ou added your own touches, or used the thtorial to create something original.
