I personaly am a Metal Head, and the only club i go to is the Palladium, in which ive seen In Flames, Trivium, Devil Driver, Mudvayne, Bloodsimple, American Head Charge, Life of Agony, and Zao. but as for "dance music" i love hearing techno mixed with like metal guitars (same for classical mixed with metal)

try and get a hold of DJ Michael... its underground taiwanese shit with western songs... and hes pretty good. he was the opener at a prodigy concert i went to.
