Hey guys , im trying my hand at a more painted type look , kinda like Jerners final fantasy pic he did a while ago. i plan to spend alot of time on this, Ive only done the first sketch last night but when its coloured i hope it looks great. probably at about step one of 25 haha. Some things too look odd at the moment because its a quick sketch but they will improve :D

Looking good, do you want it to look uber realistic , or still lineart / cartoony?
If so work from the shadows outwards ;) Then all the lines disappear etc and it looks profesh'
Ive kinda done the lips and the hair , more work will be done to them eventually.

Hmm. Are there lightsources on both sides of her?
If so then bien =) The hair has Lots of colour, a bit more brown in it might look slightly more real. But i like it alot =D You done well with the texture ! :D
It looks good (: Even though it's just a sketch so far, it looks good, and I think the end result can be really great if you work on it ;) I like the hair, and the progress seems to go alright :D But. Since it's still a sketch , and you've just started color it, I can't really tell you anything else, it just looks like a perfect start :) I like the background too. Keep it up mate!
May i suggest something mate, i think you should color it cel shade.. 1) Its alot easier to get to grips with the lighting, 2) it wont look like her skins lumpy
Otherwise, its a sweet sketch, nice work.
the skins a flat colour atm... it isnt done yet
The eyes look a bit funny because they're different shapes but the rest looks decent, love the hair.
