i just started working with PS last week and wanted to try a quick morph/merge of my friends son and Thomas the tank. here's the result.

Heh, that's not bad at all really. Hope you printed it off and give it to the kid. nice work.
It's pretty cool! Although hard to tell the face is the kid's. Maybe if you put more of his face into it... Lighting + colour is nice, looks like it's actually there :D
I tried about 4-5 variations before i came up with what i got. as you can see i had to soften and blend some of the original trains features (especially the cheeks) in order for the boys face to show through. it wasn't really that hard, i just need to learn more of the PS shortcuts to make things go faster. i didnt print it out, but i sent it to my friend.
Cool cool, yea shortcuts are generally annoying to learn. Did your friend like the image? ^_^
yea i think its pretty cool too... lol at first i coulnt really figure out where u merged the image but when i took i closer look i realized it his face was on thomos' face :lol:
nice, but you could have used some burn to make the shadows more defined, more rounder in a sense XD
thanks for the tip, i'll give it a try and see how it comes out. my friend loved it and plans on getting it printed out nice for his son.
