Same again, try and think about the design before making it.
That could not really be used, the links are limited, no place for affiliates, not very flash.
Try looking and some templates you really like and base your ideas off them.

Keep the designs simple, but think about the layout.

I disagree, that could very easily be used. Not everyone uses affiliates.
It doesn't matter if the links are limited, if that's all that he wants.
I like it. Nice and simple, gets the point across. Kind of reminds me of mine, just without the smaller box in the content spot. (Link is in sig.) I'd say if you made the content box the whole width, it'd be better.
