USB ports

Got a new computer recently w00t any way i connect my camera via the front USB ports it doesnt read it
i connect it via the back USB ports it doesnt work and my mouse and keyboard dont work along with anyother divices connected to the back USB ports this also happens at the front when i use more than one divice ;) :angry:

Is the problem my PC, the ports, the camera or the USB cable?

i have installed the spftware which came with the camera

Ok, do some tests.

Try connecting the device on EVERY port, with a USB cord you know works.

If your PC does NOT recgonize the devices, make sure you have all software, and drivers installed. If this dosen't work, try doing the SAME steps on a different pc. If it works, then the ports on your pc are bad, or they are not installed.

If it dosen't work on another PC, then there is something wrong with the device.

tried it in a friends comp and all of my USB ports and his installed everytjing on the two discs given
still the same :angry:

Its most likely the USB cord, or the device. Or you did something wrong.

Does the device show up on the device manager.

see if you can update the firmware.
