Messed up scanner/printer :P

my computer wont communicate with my scanner. i have a printer with built in scanner. the computer communicates with rinter fine but not with scanner. the scanner is not broken as i can still make copies of some papers without need of computer, but when i try to open the program that takes car of scanner, it says its dissconnected or something. i have a hp computer and scanner/printer. i tried to troubleshoot but it didnt work. anyone have anyidea how i can fix this? model number of my scanner/printer is HP PSC 1410v. its pretty shitty printer but wth lol.

Use the built in windows, scanning feature ;)

Yeah, that&#39;s what i use. Software scanners always suck really bad, but the built in windows one works fine. And obviously, you know how to use photoshop...so go to file>import and try it that way if you don&#39;t like the windows wizard.

GAAAHHH&#33;&#33;&#33; THATS MESSED UP TOO&#33;&#33;&#33; it says cannot detect a scanner&#33;&#33;&#33; GOD&#33;&#33; I HATE THIS PICE OF SHIT&#33; Photoshop show me this "could not open TWAIN source. make sure there is a valid source for your scanner in the TWAIN directory in windows directory."&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33; MAN&#33;&#33;&#33; i think i m gona have to buy a new USA cord.... i think that is the problem... but i donno y it will connect to printer but not with scanner....... f**ing pice of shit&#33;

Re-download the drivers off of the HP site.

Xtremerunnerars i use the photoshop scanning thing too, much better. Although it takes around 10mins to scan in the images ( I scan at high res :P )
