Who's got this game? Just beat it today.
I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed with the horror element. It got old pretty fast. But there is one part in particular, towards the beginning that made my heart jump and my skin crawl.... (No spoilers, sorry.)
However, I loved the combat. Blowing a Replica Elite into a pool of blood always feels good. :)
I downloaded the demo and It was soooo hard! You really have to watch yourself, it's not a spray and pray like doom3. The AI is amazing, but the graphics were alittle to hardcore for my laptop and it took a poop on me alot.
Haha, i got the game about a week after it came out. I played through fairly far, though i stopped for a month or so. Then, on easter, i beat the last 8 hours of it straight through.
The worst scare imo was the sewer pipe.
However, i did love the ending :-p
i watched my bf play it (im crap at computer games) seemed really hard even on the easiest setting. i thought it was quite scary (maybe cos im female and im a wimp lol) especially at the beginning.
i didnt like those cinematic scenes though! where u have to shoot anything that comes at u, and not have the power to run away ;\
good game though :)
Yeah, it definitely was a good game. The gunfights in COD2 for PC own it though.
FEAR had really good reviews, all of them stating it had the best AI ever seen in a game.
