Why come nobody on here goes to last.fm anymore? (except me, redblaze and conspired)

im on it all the time, just not on our forum..i dont go on alot of the lastFM forums though

Last.FM is a site where you sign up and have a profile page. You download a plugin for whatever media player (Winamp, Windows Media player, etc) you use, and it will log all the songs you listen to and put them on your page. Eventually, it will create charts showing your most recently played tracks, top artists overall, etc.

There are groups you can join (such as the GFXVoid group), and each group has stats of the members, and forums. In addition, there are radio stations you can listen to, which can be helpful for discovering new bands.

no, all you have to do is download the plugin for whatever media player you use, and just go about doing your regular stuff with the music on, and last.FM will record every song you listen to, and sort out your favourite artists, tracks, albums, etc. It'll also find people with the same musical taste as you, and give you many opportunities and reccomendations for no bands to listen to.
