The border isnt the top layer on it. Its not bad, but waaay to bright at the bottom. I also think the text needs to go in the lower right and maybe keep 'sorrow' underneath 'guardian' but move it to the right.
It's way too bright, and the background lacks flow and depth. The stock is overcontrasted and blurry. Like Vermillion said, put the text in the lower right. Work on those things and it should help a bit. =)
