Couple Shots ~ 6/3/2006

My camera's not the best, but photography is all about (or what I have been told all the time) what you make of your camera. Its a Fuji FinePix A101. Cant afford my Coolpix 8700 quite yet ;)

I dont believe in 'bashing' photos...as I believe in, if the photographer belives it to be an excellent photo...treat is as such, your opinion on a photograph is your opinion. I however could care less if you dislike my photos. I do my photography as a hobby, a passion, a theraputical way to 'get away' and to think about just my pictures when I'm taking them. No outside problems, concerns...nothing.

So I post my photos here as to just share my work, not to be critiqued on.

I agree with your mindset on photography. I'm currently reading a book titled Dark Nights of the Soul by Thomas Moore, and it mentions how photography is theraputic and can be a form of catharsis. Anyways, interesting photos...I particularly like the first and the last ones.

So you're one of those artists who refuse to improve, I see. And since I never say that something is bad without giving any pointers and constructive criticism, I can't really say anything. But one thing that hasn't got to do with the photos themselves is that the huge text you have put on every one totally ruins the balance of the photo. The text is the least important thing!

Anyways, it's nice to see new people to the photography forum. It's kinda empty here. :/

I do alot of photgraphy.....I just cant find the cable to connect my camera to the PC xD&#33; Anyway I think the first one it the best. And yeah i agree with Rabs the text draws the eye away from the image.

Awesome man i love them al, not so keen on the second. It looks nice but its similar to a lot of other.

The other, especially first and last are uber lush :P

Got any larger versions?

1st and last one are good. The last one is a winner though. Its definately got the feel to it. The rest have something missing?

i love them all.


and for the record, i think the text is find. I think it adds to the over all theme of the pictures.

nice man, i really like the fist one, im a newbie on photography. but i can see you&#39;re good since you took that pics and they look pretty nice, and the camera aint the best. i mean, i couldnt never take that pics with a camera with just a standar lens (as i say, im a n00b, tho :P)

i say pretty good job, but dont take my critics seriously, i know they are not all accurate
