Fireball Tutorial

this is my first tutorial I hope you like it.
befor I go any ferther I'd like to say that I got the idea for this from vewing a couple other tutorials and would like to give them some credit. their names are:

We’ll begin with a document by thees dimensions.

now make the background black then use the eliptical marquee tool, while holding down shift to make a circle. On a new layer fill your selection with clowds (Filter->Render->Clouds) (don’t deselct the circle untill I tell you).

the go to Filter->Render->diference Clouds untill you get something like you see above.
Once you have it go to Filter->Sharpen->Unsharp Mask
Amount: 500%
Radius: 3.0
Threshold: 15

no go to Filter->Sharpen->Unsharp Mask
Amount: 500%
Radius: 3.0
Threshold: 15

then stroke (on a new layer) with yellow (2 px).

using the laso tool make several shapes inside the circle, and on the same layer as the stroke fill them with yellow.

now ctrl+click the layer with the shapes and stroke it 2 px with white.

now go to Distort->Polar Coordinates: Options: Polar to Rectangular (don’t be alarmed it’s supposed to took distorted) hit ctrl+D to deselct.

rotate the image 90cw

then you go to Filter->Stylize->Wind: Method: WInd. Direction: From the Right
Press CTRL+F to reapply.

Next apply the Wind Filter again, this time, set direction to From the Left.
Press CTRL+F to reapply.

now rotate canvas 90ccw

Then go to Filter->Polar Coordinates. Set to: Rectangular to Polar.

then you ctrl+click the clowds to select the circle. Hit ctrl+sift+invert. Now go to Filter->Distort->Ocean Ripple. Ripple Size: 1. Ripple Magintude: 2

ctrl+D to deselct. Now go to Image->Adjustments->Color Balance and set it to:
Shadows: +100 | 0 | -100
Midtones: +100 | 0 | -100
Highlights: +70 | 0 | -15

And there you have it.

i like the effect...but please make your pics a LOT SMALLER...they take up my whole screen....1024x768..sheesh..thanks in advance
