Backgrounds on all except the first i give credit to the tuts ,the middle 2 i used a tut but just added a bunch of extra lays with different colours ...so if u see a BG u put a tut up for ,thanks :)

The first one is pretty good, the two middle ones are really plain. and the Superman one could do without the bricks and the bevel and I don't like the colors in it. It seems like really nasty colors, but for your first trys they are really good.

I don't like the bevel borders. Try something like a 1px black border instead...they look much cleaner. With a bit more practice using the tools, you should be able to stray away from using tuts for backgrounds and should experiement on your own a bit ^^
