What do you think about the world population now, and in the future? Do you think it will continue to rise? Is it causing problems now? Do you think they world could support more people?
I think we need to cut-down on the world population. It's imhuman to say such things, but if we don't cut-down on the population eventually, the world will get crowded, and will run out of resources. :eek:
So whats your thoughts, feelings, or points on this matter?
I think the world population really is getting out of hand. About a month ago, there was a little news coverage on this issue. My take on this is that
we should start having only a maximum of 2 kids per family (after the first baby, just use lots and lots of protection). Maybe there should be a rule
that if there is a third baby, there should be a penalty / fine (like a percentage of your annual income etc.). The world has a lot of resources
to go, but you're right that we will eventually run out. China is already packed, which is why they have a rule that you can have only 2 kids (I'm not
too sure about this. My friend from China told me about it.). We should have and enforce the same rule.
Hell, I knew this since I was like 5. Back then I thought the same thing as whatshisface about the two kids, but now I am thinking exterminate everyone that goes to prison for a serious crime or a second offence + the two kids deal.
2 kids? It's a one-child policy for sure. Which is why there are more males than females because of a preference for boys to carry the family name. One of the many downsides of that policy..
Ja overpopulation is definitely a problem, but interesting to note that Thomas Malthus in the 1700s or so wrote about this. While we could use "moral restraint" <--funny :) and kill people. Another case would be overpopulating to the extent where food production cannot keep up and billions starve to death. Thus keeping the population in check.
Just ban computers for a week, half the worls population wont be able to cope and will die :D
Or just give everyone drugs so they overdose, its a high and easy way to solve the problem.
It should be 2 kids a family, but... if you do have a 3rd child you just receive no support for them :)

One child? It is a thought. Oh! I got one! For every male found legally cheating on his wife he gets his d&^% cut off! And for the wemon that cheat..... Ugh, you don't want to know.

On a longer scale moving to other planets is one option... but thats nowhere in the near future.
I read somewhere that in 2050 the population will be around 10 billion, in 2100 around 11 billion, 2150 around 11,5 billion and it keeps leveling off because of the child policies and shit. Not sure how reliable it is though.
Dude.. you cant just stop catholics from having sex, or any other religion that restricts contraception. You cant just go killing babies either. World population is gona rise, but there will be more technical advances for more space; having more flats and skyscrapers, but so its more like houses on top of one another (XD) and like.. building cities over water, and making man made continents. And the moon! WOOO the moon ^_^
Make it mandatory vasectomy after 1 baby. Free of charge ;).
