So I gave my site a "portal"-like look... I really, really don't know. I like the idea. But the actual look, and the colors, I'm not sure. I need criticism.

Good idea, but the colours and finish is ewwwww lol just bad colours, and why is the link box so big for small links?
I made all the content boxes the same size to give it a uniform, cluttered look.
I dunno.
Guess I'll start over, then.
No, don't start over, it looks great. Just fix that one up a little bit. IMO, I think the colors are great. Good Job! :)
