They're both pretty nice, but I think they're also both a bit bland. The FF one's not so bad, really, but the MK one looks really boring. It's because the background is so one-dimensional, you know? I generally go for rather plain backgrounds, myself, but I don't think it works with this image. If you do something else with it, I'd like to see it, though. :D

2nd= to bright and not very well blended

with that said, both are ho-hum. i think Raiden is the best, your second is oversaturated. keep messing around with different layers and blending, get comfortable with them
