ummm, on step two, what do you mean "Erase the parts ontop of the render"? Why can't you just take the Smugded render and put it under of the original so the smudged parts show behind that original?

cause you still want some smudge parts (tiny storkes) to be on top of render borders, or sth like that. i did this like 1 year ago so i dont remember.
