its very plain. there is too much blank black space in the bg. i guess thats supposed to give it more space effect? if so try adding somethin in the background maybe stars. the lightning is done good. I really dont like how the edges r smudged into the black area. Just my opinion. i havnt seen ur other but id give ya about a 3/10 on it.

Ehh, they are both kind of blurry, i wouldnt give it a 3/10, but maybe more of a 5-6/10. I like the premise, but it does look a little to blurry. I like the blue/green on each side, but i dont think you should have the red by the saber, after all he is good not evil.
