Yesterday I was watching a documentary that was set in NYC. Loving the city, I thought it would be neat to make a New York sig.
So I did. It's all from scratch, and for the city I used a NY custom shape I had. I made the gradients, and the stars. The moon was a brush I had. :D
So, what do you think? Any C&Cs?

Hmmm, I like it. I'm not sure if the text on the right need to be blue like that, I think it'd look just fine being white.

Looks pretty nice, though it'd be a lot better without the animation. Not only is it just distracting, but the *.gif file format makes everything look a lot worse than it should (i.e. gradient sky). Also, the text 'casey' looks out of place. You could use warp text to have it fit around the moon more convincingly, or more preferably just relocate it. The other text may be a bit overdone, I think they take away from the rest of the sig. The stars need slightly more variety, but I'm no expert at space art so I'm not the best person to ask about that. I wouldn't really call this made from scratch if the city is a pre-made shape, unless you made that shape. Pen tool's the way to go for stuff like that.
So that looks like a lot of negatives, but I really do like this sig. Animation's the only major issue I have with it, lose that and add some details (or lose some if you want to go for a more simplistic look, because right now you're in between), and it'll be great. Be sure to post an update if you change it.
