derek and a few friends of mine introduced me Metric... awsome sounding band.. i adore her music XDDDD shes awsome... and that is a kick ass music video.. check it out

That sounded pretty nice! The video was pretty cool as well. I'll check out more of her music.

i'm sorry but quicktime blows and makes everything sound like the devil.. Like i'm not kidding it really did sound like the devil .. all low pitched and slow and shit.. couldn't make out a word it was saying.. like back masking..

I LOVE METRIC! They're wicked. Got nominated for the Polaris prize this year. :) Everytime they come here, it always sells out. It's bullshit.

Emily Haines and James Shaw are also part of Broken Social Scene. It's like an Indie supergroup (major Canadian indie bands all collaborate, they have like 19 members forlfrlflr). It's a different sound though.

Emily Haines also has a new solo CD out: Knives Don't Have Your Back. It's very different from Metric, very depressing and mellow. Good for a rainy day. She's also a fox :D
