It sorta looks like to me that you're not sure on where to make one shape versus the next. It's not bad, but you could work on it. I mean that it looks like you just really gradually blended colors, instead of trying to consciously define shapes and make them work.

I like the effort, though! You're good with sigs and you'll be good with painting in no time.

I think that's kinda his style, seeing he just pwnd the CD compitition with his sweet raven painting.

Try to do your brush strokes in the direction of the shapes :) That way it should all look a little neater, i noticed you added some shadow since you last showed me, now maybe work on some highlights, and get them colours looking like feathers, as they just look like a texture at the moment :) Keep it up man...

Vary your brush sizes. Small brush all the time means you will get a scribbly result. To start off always use a bigger brush to flesh our the basic shapes, then gradually use smaller brushes for the details.
