Stupid problem!!

Whenever opening any folder, like my doc, a quick flash of windows installer appear and dissapear!! Its hella annoying and i cant seem to fix it.

try clean up virus with CCleaner, Spybot&Destory, AVG so on. it may help.:)

Could be a virus or trojan, or just windows being windows. Personally I have trend micro for an anti virus program, and I recently got windows defender, which seems to help keep my system fairly clean and free of crap, but then again, it's yet another microsoft product. Try to run some anti virus/anti spyware programs to start with anyhow.

:??? by folder you mean file? and any file? I only heard that installer shit happening with MS apps; mostly Office and IE. With office just re-install the mofo, you may have to do something with the registry though.. Not sure at the top of my mind.
