Firs two I'm not fond of really.I'm not so fond of animation in sigs, and with the second one, I think it's ok, other than the ripple type lince across the chicks face. Other than that, it's allrite.
Third is a nice sig, but needs a border imo.
Fourth one looks just like a bg with some text that's hard to read.
The others are ok, but if it were me, especially on the fifth sig, I would have lowered the opacity on my patterns/scanlines a touch.
If you've only being at it for four months, I think you're doing a pretty good job mind you. Some may disagree with this, but a border can do wonders for a sig. One other quick pointer is the text. Hardest part of a sig imo. Keep it small, and keep it simple. Usually when I make a sig, I add my name only for anti-rip reasons, and set the opacity as low as 5%. Also, use default fonts. Less is more with text.:D

thanks ^^
(the third sig actually has a border, though it's only 0.5 px - centered a 1px border)
PS: I tend to make my name the lowest opacity while still retaining the legibility, because I want people to know my name.

1st one should be smaller, text looks odd in the 3d one and the 4th one is my favorite. All really good, good job

Your doing pretty good for just starting. You may want to add borders, yes text is very hard, it is what gets me. Keep on thoughs tutorials, and you'll get somewere.
Good job and Good Luck!

Now that's improvement. It's amazing what a decent tutorial can do for you, just be sure not to use them for EVERYTHING, you have to use your own mind for something more than choosing a render and brushing around it.
