.Ps2 Socom 3 vs. Xbox Halo.

yo what is your preference? Ps2's top game socom 3 / combined assault or xbox's top game Halo ?

they can't really be compared like that. halo has different elements that are much different than the straight shooter that is socom. But, preference wise, I like the socom series much more than halo. Socom 2 owns all.

The numbers would say Halo 2's got it covered. SOCOM was my introduction to online with consoles, but once I got my 360 it all changed. Live is just ten times better than any other online service Sony could offer.

Sorry, but Halo is the better of the two. SOCOM multiplayer is good and fine, but it just doesn't compare to the popularity and insanity of Halo's multiplayer.

PS3 = £425..........fuck that, so even if the new socom is brilliant then no.

Anyway for ontopicness: Imo Halo 2 is more fun that Socom 2 (played both) and Halo 2's online system is brilliance.

^that has nothing to do with the socom series atm, since none of its games is on the next gen. Even socom 4, that's to be released, is for the ps2. 360 = $350........fuck that.

Let's keep this thread clean and fanboy-less. This is about two games, each on their respective consoles, both with multiplayer, but one is epically more popular than the other.

Halo anydays, just much more playable. IMHO

yeh halo ... better gameplay.

Socom has always been my preference when it comes to online shooters. While I didn’t like sScom 3 as much as Socom 2 I still prefer them over halo.
