I experimented with smudging and colored lighting.

She has a thin dark line around her, which make her look cut out and flat. If you could just get rid of that, it would be better. Find out which layer it is and then erase it or make it white instead. Very sexy though! ;P

The background was a mix of gradients and manual brushing.

did you by any chance alter the image of her. ? or did it just come that way ?

Yes, I smoothed out her skin using the smudge tool.
