so i have this stupid virus on my computer
im pretty sure its a trojan
i keep getting pop ups
and i have this stupid protection bar on my internet thingy
and my computer is moving really slowly
when it comes to computers im completely oblivious
so any help as to how to get rid of this thing would be greatly appreciated.
Sounds like you have some nasty spyware. XD There are tons of Anti-Spyware programs on the internet, Ad Aware is popular, so is SpyBot. I like Spyware Doctor though, but you gotta pay which is bullshit. Yea those programs should get rid of most/all of the garbage on your computer.
You might want to clean out your registry too. If you've had your computer for a while, the registry tends to build up for every program you install, the registries can also get corrupted and slow the comp like a mofo. Get a registry cleaner to clean it up. RegCure, RegSeeker are good bets.

Isn't AdAware Swedish? Hell yeah... ;) That's the one I use and it does the job it's supposed to do. :)
sometimes those programs dont remove all the files completely. when that happens u will have to get hijackthis which tell you wat is messing with ur compter then u will have to take down location of the file then start the computer in safe mode and run smith fraud fix. this really helped me out when i got a very very nasty virus in my computer.
