Simple mp3 player interface

I thought I'd try something new. It's not great, but it's my first attempt at anything like this.

Right now it looks too plain. Colors are boring are don't work well together (if you want to keep those hues though, try lowering the saturation and/or brightness of the blue, give the green some contrast for emphasis and make the white easier to read). The gradients are a bit harsh also. The EQ sliders look too wide, they'd hit each other. The border looks really rough and doesn't fit well. And the pause button doesn't look like a pause button because the gap between the two bars isn't wide enough (looks like one rectangle). I'm not liking the drop shadow either. The dimensions are pretty huge, yet the graphic takes only half the canvas space, crop some of it out. Keep working on it, hope this helps.

For the buttons I'd do a round button and then put the symbol on the inside. The symbol should be kinda carved in. And then maybe you should make a display screen.

i have a mp3 design somewhere, let me see if i can find it, its got a little more symetry to it, and I actually coded a code for it in VB, i have it somewhere, lemme go look for the skin
