i think your mario sig is awesome, but i do have to say your "style" is identical to a lot of the styles and sigs around here. i think you should find a style that is uniquely (sp?) your own. otherwise you just get kinda left in the anonymous shuffle of thousands of sigs that look alike.
riight riight. i feel you. i gots ta get my game up.
THE BEGINNER FUCKING SUCKS, I FUCKING HATE YOUR STYLE! Haha, joking. JOKING.
Not bad though man, you just need to stop using downloaded brushes. Get to know the filters of Photoshop. Blending modes and filters = amazing. Brushes = not so amazing.
In regards to Mr. Goodwrench up there:
Hence why I rarely make sigs, and when I do, I try to do something apart from what other people do.
I like the first one but she throws it off for me, idky.
Might look better grunge (brush) blended, but thats not my forte.
I like the second one better. The first one is nice, but I think that the colors in the second one are better. I'm still amazed by your Mario sig though :-)
See..now that's the thing. And I don't mean this in a mean or negative way, but I do have to somewhat agree with The Wrench. Finding your own style is important. When I first started all I'd do is make a bg with couple brushes, slap in some game/anime render, add some text and that was that.
It's hard to find your own style, but in time you will. You may find more than one style that you like and that you excel at. In my case I won't use renders anymore. I use a stock image. Or I simply create my own stuff from scratch. I'm at this point now.
I see so many sigs that just look the same. It happens when you're new. Being unique makes you stand out from the norm. Keep at it though and you'll get there.
