Printable View
I get the picture looking awesome in photoshop, then save as a .jpg.
When I look at it in MS filmstrip, the photo is several shades brighter. As if there is some slight over-exposure.
Same goes for when I view something in Filmstrip and then open in photoshop - it goes several shades darker.
(how do you post an image so I can show what I'm saying?)
What gives?

use PrtSc on your keyboard to take a screenshot, and then paste into photoshop or wherever. the problem may be with filmstrip. post screenshots.
im just guessing, but i think its probably your colour settings within PS

OK - I tried/found this and it seems to work:
View ->Proof Colors (on)
View ->Proof Setup -> Monitor RGB (on, instead of whatever custom setting it was on).
That lightened up the photoshop almost exactly to what I had saved as a .jpg. So I went in and lowered the brightness on the background to get back to what I wanted... Saved again and Windows/Photoshop are now viewing the same.
Now, if I send this out for a proof, what will I get? What I see on the screen?
