IMO it seems like halo is gone and done for. but i made teh bg before i found the render this time...I was mainly just focusing on trying to get a circular sided rectangle. i think it turned out ok. but anyways here it is...

Master Chief seems a little squushed
Like its not quite relative.
Also Save it as a PNG. If they're using firefox like and smart person is, than it will be transparent anyway.
It looks like you lost alot of quality by saving it as a GIF

The quality is alot better, But mastchief still looks squooshed :P
You should probably hold for other peoples CnC though
