not trying to be difficult, but why post something if its not finished?
anyway...what is the thing on the first sig...alien?
Before i say anything Welcome to the Void.
I have no idea what the renders are, they are very hard to see....and it seems a bit empty in both pictures, i would consider adding some text into the first 1. Also you should start using borders as well, the bg goes with the render though nicely. keept at it and you'll get better.
The first one is a elite from Halo
The second one...I have no idea
Better than my first. Go look around for tutorials for a little help though
Thanks for the feedback ^^
I think they are lacking...a lot. But it's all good and that's how you learn.
They both need text, borders and generally speaking, they are empty all around. It's hard to figure out what the second one is. Look at some tuts around here and you'll learn some tricks over time.
As far as posting unfinished work goes...hell....I do it constantly. That's how you learn how to fix things.:D
Well, I took some advice, and came up with this, I think It's nice...But the border I think could be better, I just don't know how to make cool borders.

Kyokai...if you want to make a simple border, just make a new layer , select all, edit, stroke, 1 pix black. Very basic border for now. However, I really don't see much wrong with the border you have on it myself.
Read some background tutorials here. There are plenty of them floating around.
The render needs a bit of work, so try this and see how it works.
Select the render on your pallette, and grab the lasoo tool and make a selection with it around your render.
Hit CTRL+SHIFT I on your keyboard. Now press the DELETE key.
This will blend your render a bit into your background. Repeat if needed.
Very basic, but it works.
i almost always do something to my images after i post them. other people tend to notice faults or give suggestions that i never thought of
