The bottom one is actually quite cool, also the top one is looking good, but i think it would look better with some more red in it and also a bit brighter.

Add an unsharp mask filter to the foreground layer. looks a bit too dull right now. lighting could be more pronounced.

I really like the top, maybe because that stock reminds me of gears of war?, anyway the font is kinda hard to see, and the background is too rough so it does not matches the stock very well.

A little more contrast on the character might help bring it out a lil. But it's nice man.

Haha Mannos, it IS from Gears of War. It's one of the first bosses. Terrifying really...
