this is my first time makin a planet...

it looks really good. the colours in the swirl are great, and it has a great feel. it could be a little bigger, though.

Very creative idea!

I do like it. My only nitpick is the planet, actually! the details of the clouds should either. a, cover the entire planet or b) be blotted out by darkness. While the planet is, like, ownage, the clouds just look like they stop at being a crescent.

I don't like how that swirl is perfect, gives it that filtered look. It would look better if you perhaps brushed a swirlish shape instead. Expand on the idea some. There's no focal point right now. Or at least not an apparent one.

That's true jsoosiah. It is a little too perfect. A little distortion might make it a little more space-like.

all my work I try to make it atleast 2000x2000 pixels... this one was 3200x3200
but i jus posted a smaller pic here...

I do touch my artwork once I say its finished... so I'll takes Loken's and jsoosiah's advice to the next swirl or planet related work...

i learnt a lot while makin this... ;D

wel the brushing for the nebula is not convincing, need mores depth and also less colour since there's little light in space an all and thin out the brushing and be real inventive with the colour like mix it up but not too messed up since it's space not a play school tv show hehehe :D
though i do like preschool tv shows! XD and oh and the grainy ness around the image needs tinkering since i know there's a bunch of stars but the stars arn't to realistic to me and too bright and crowded but i don't know if you were going for realism here but whatever man, it's an alright piece :D nice work also i love your signture xD turns out i'm disobeyingthat now FOO'

yea well deadloader... i wansnt goin for Realism at all... i dont think i'm ready for that stuff yet... and got a lil too much for studyn too...

although I do touch myself after my works are finished... but thats a secret...
