i think this is the right place for it..im just getting back into photoshop so im kind of a noob all over again. i dont have any brushes or fonts or anything..so no text on them just messing with filters

You shouldnt download brushes anyway ;) Defaults all the way.
Erm... well they are all you said they are really, messing with filters.
Maybe try a photomanip, or try some speepainting or something? :)
First one looks good but filter whored?

lol nothing was whored...if it was i would have used sumthing thats actually good......thats just me tho
I give critique just not a lot, If you read it like me i said.
Try not to use so many filters/ use them so much it gives a very 'noobish' look. Try other techniques.

Well the way you word things affects the way people read and interpret things. If you speak to someone correctly you will get your point across alot easier ;)
