Your second one looks like a combination of all kinds of things and it looks weird. I don't really see a focal point.

Yea i can kinda see both.
First sig - I dont know if you were intending to make it metal, but it looks like it. I would have left the main metal shapes the way tehy were...not purple and blue.
Second- pretty cool idea i can see what your going for but a bit...like DM said without a focal point.
it doesnt need a focal point in my view its just a photograph
