really cool.. i love the planets.. howd u get them done?
also is there no texture on the land? or is it too dark to see?
With terragen 2 you can put in planets.
But he might have PS'd them in.
Over all, extremely nice. I'd say maybe add some sort of reflectinon in the water so that the planets match with the terragen render
omg god looks nice, i agree maybe some stars but again WoW
tehre is some texture but it is hard to see. This picture i made in terregen was super dark to start with so it was pretty hard to get it light enough so everything would fit in well. Thanks sic.
I had no idea tehre was a terragen 2 and more than that ihad not even a clue u could plug in planets, i just made teh planets in PS and then stuck em in tehre. thanks for the cnc man.
Thanks a lot deamon I actually do have some stars in tehre, but they are kind of hard to see, I originally made it was bigger, and Devart sized it down slightly so its hard to see teh stars, cause at a 100% it looked over powering to me so i lowered the opacity not knowing itd be smaller.
Thanks for the cnc people
Looks alright, but I feel it's too monotonous on the color. Try giving the planets some land/water colors, and color the nebula more vibrant colors, like blue/purple/pink.
Like mentioned, it needs a starfield. On dA, when you submit, where it says "Fullview Size," make sure it's set to Original.
The clouds filter (nebula?) looks really obvious. If you could soften that, or maybe even brush from scratch, that'd make a big difference.
Where the clouds stop and the texture starts on the planet looks really rough. Try blending that a little better.
Lastly, the Terragen terrain needs a lot of help. It looks really (sorry to say) noobish, and could be a lot better with some work. Take some tips from ~alyn on dA, he's really good with Terraspace. Try making the landscape shorter and less jagged, maybe even a beach scene would do well on this piece.
Give it some work, and I think this piece could be ace.
I usually enjoy all space pieces, and this is no exception, very spiffy, although some more colors would help it a bit.
alright ill edit it tonite and repost it with mroe color and stuff.
Thanks for teh CNc guys.
