i dont know how well the effect has worked, maybe render it in high/med/dark all from the same perspective and animate the 3 images to blend so we can see the difference.

Do you know the best setup for an hdr? Add it to a material in the lumi channel, with no other channels on. Then add that to the sky object. Add a compositing tag to the sky to remove from camera view, and finally add a relfective material to the object.
And I can only see the reflections of the object, not the hdr, is it quite a plain hdr?
Its a blurred hdr. so yeah its quite plain. But the concept is there and works.

They are torus knots, extended primatives.
You are using c4d?
I dont have extended prims. =/
And I knew they were torus knots (well, the first) but I thought youd either made them (heh) or downloaded them.
I tried making a klein bottle once, and got really confused.
