Really cool, but the text sticks out a lot when I look at the sig.

I like it, other than the text. Make it smaller and maybe add a border to the sig.

Are you trying to create a sig where the render is not suppoed to stand out against the rest of the sig?
If you aren't then you gotta change something... I just go and look straight at the BG

lol, i make a new layer on top of the stock photo, set that layer to color, choose a color that looks best and thats it. oh plus some lighting and shading.

im still messing around with it, i basically wanted to try my hand at coloring a black and white stock. but even though your eyes go straight to the bg, you always goes back to her face.

second one is much better i dont like the border that much but really nice job on the sig

I don't like the girl and the effects you did to it...although...

I don't really like the spiderman one, but it's pretty unique, so that's good. I love the V for Vendetta one~
The texts quite blends in with the back colors...not to mention, it was one of the most awesome movies, EVER~~
