first vector pic

just woke up with this idea, made the pic, vectorized and added some stuffs. c&c pls :)

looks pretty cool, but i wonder how much of this is made up of brushes rather then vector shapes. the background looks nice, but i dont know about the "sun", it looks kinda iffy the way it is. maybe add some glow to the sun to make it look bright. the person also needs detail, add some highlights to it with white. cause right now the entire image is dominated by a mass of blackness, that that doesnt look so hot.

agreed. and perhaps it's custom shape tool rather than brushes. or both. I know I've seen some of those before though.

Yeah the stars where the bullet comes out are default brushes.
Quite nice, I like the BG especially, but as expressed, the black dominates it.

yea, ty. well its about half-half. the black person (me) and the hanging guy and the rainbow and those lines are vectors, others are brushes, used 2non basic brush only. others are in every PS. well i know the black dominates but i think it good for this self finger suicide thing :D

you shirt shouldn't be like that, it looks messy.. sure it's what the picture had on it but you should just find ways to show outline's more clearly.
This idea has been done soo many time's, mainly emo's.. hahaha and the hanging body is cool..

yepp i know it has been done many times, many variations, personally i havent seen it with this stile bg. but nowadays its more than hard to do something fully unique, i just wanted to make my own. not sure how to make the shirt better.

yeah i get what you mean, just there's certain levels of originality, this is a current theme among designers(to my surmise) though, and so can't be justified by the conceptualization that it's difficult to be original.. but, granted it is fairly well made and good looking it's a good piece, just one qualm with the circles, within circles .. remove that really, it's just a gratuitous waste of space, which would be best served not being there at all imho, try without see what it looks like and post results :)

Really like the concept of it but the sun seems out of place on a picture with such a dreary theme.
