i dont really like makin abstracts in c4d... was experimentin with different stuff like caustics, displacement mappin and transparency and stuff...
well this one is all about materials.. all materials are mine except the glass mat.. which is a c4d default...

The shadow/gloss/environment doesnt look very real, or fit with the render well, but the render is great! Love the mix of colors, but it could have a more glossy feel to it.
Also that pixelated part needs to go.

good lightning, but the orb looks fugly.
Well I like it. The green glow around it detracts from it though.
Actually I like the orb, looks funky! The only trouble is the depth, there's no shadow which doesn't seem to secure the orb's placement in the scene.
