Awesome concept. The debris trail needs a little work to get the perspective right. Its hard to tell the meteor just sailed by and hit the planet. I like it better without any thing else around it...space is empty you know lol.
They're a tad sharp, the debris >.<

all of the above.. and the stars seem to be a lil flat... er.. idk how to explain... sry.. but stars need more work is all i can say..
The clouds in the forefround aren't as sharp as the ones going into the distance... and the planet isn't sharp, or detailed enough..
But keep working on it :)
If you wanna add something else... maybe something real small in the bottom left, idk.

the blurred clouds at the top seem a bit weird, also how long the smoke trail is seems a bit off.
the texture on the planet needs work, more colors, and i'd tone down the stars a little bit.
Photomanipulate? not bad, 8/10, see some bugs but still nice
