I think it looks rather cool actually. I think the color looks great, and so does the render. Keep on working on it I think it'll work out fine.

i donnno which is better, but both are awesome! did you use bryce or c4d?
the render was made in C4D and brushing in photoshop (of course)
Nice to see some more abstract models. I like it, the brushing is divine. Good job.

how'd you do the spiky efect? i cant figure out how to do that.. .
its easy, go here http://forums.gfxvoid.com/t-2572.htm and you should be able to do it, also, check out www.pixel2life.com for some more tuts, its simple.
