Its well balanced, the text isnt too dominant either.
The only thing I would say is theres no light sorce to go with the stock

What would you suggest to fix that?

To me it seems wayyy too dark, i can hardly make out the guy and i have even more trouble seeing the background and text. <.>

Hmmm might be the monitor? It's dark but i think it looks good like that.

agreed, lacks appeal because i see nothing. keep in mind that what you can see easily may not be so easy to see by others, since you made it and you know what it is.

eh - it's okay.

There's nothing that stands out about it. I barely see him and it took me a long time to notice the text. xP But if I look closely, it looks good. But that's not what people are going to see. Maybe add some light on him and make the text stand out more?

Its very dark maybe bright it up just a bit and add a light source and voila
